The Introductory Programming group in the School of Computer Science offers two positions: course assistant and lab assistant. The descriptions for both positions are as follows.
This position is responsible for providing course support to the Introductory Programming group in the School of Computer Science. This position will report to a Lecturer and/or other Introductory Programming staff.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
This position will be required to attend one or two group meetings over the course of the semester in which to receive instruction in performing duties, learn new skills, or eat pizza.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified applicants will have received an "A" in 15-100, 15-111 or
15-121; OR show adequate past experience with programming languages
and/or course support.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
STARTING PAY:
Freshman $6.75/hour
Sophomore $7.00/hour
Junior $7.25/hour
Senior $7.50/hour
Grad $7.75/hour
$0.25 increase per semester (Spring & Summer count as one semester)
HOURS: 15-20 hours/week
This position is responsible for providing lab support to the Introductory Programming group in the School of Computer Science. This position will report to the Program Administrator and/or other Introductory Programming staff.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE providing learning support to students enrolled in our courses as follows:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified applicants will have received an "A" in 15-111 or 15-200; OR
show adequate past experience with programming languages and/or course
support.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
STARTING PAY:
Sophomore $7.00/hour
Junior $7.25/hour
Senior $7.50/hour
Grad $7.75/hour
$0.25 increase per semester (Spring & Summer count as one semester)
HOURS: 6-10 hours/week
